A Pair of George IV Rosewood and giltwood Cabinets.

In the manner of George Bullock.

The original rectangular Egyptian breccia green marble tops, above a giltwood moulding,

with a single brass grill door, with fleur de lis ormulo mounts in each corner, inside fluted columns,

resting on carved shaped fleur del lis gilt feet.

The well detailed moulded cornice with dental moulding,

above arched glazed doors, resting on a two door cabinet base, made from nicely figured mahogany,

with raised panel mouldings and carved ram's heads in each corner, sitting on bracket feet.

AN IRISH GEORGE III ARCHITECTS CABINET

A Rare and Important 18th Century Irish Mahogany Architects Cabinet,

The swan neck cornice, mounted with carved Irish rosettes, outside a central

carved eagle, above two mirror doors, concealing a fitted interior,

resting on a pull out base, fitted for writing with an adjustable drawing slide.

Above a fully carved frieze, with a central scallop shell flanked by flowing acanthus

and carved eagles, resting on scallop shell carved cabriole legs, with lions paw feet.

The open fret work swan neck cornice outside a carved giltwood Irish cartouche,

above two shaped raised panel doors, with a fitted interior, resting on a slope front bureau

with a well fitted interior, above four long drawers with original brass handles, on ogee

bracket feet, retaining a rich colour and patina throughout.
